I signed up for an annual license last year. I've been trying to cancel the recurring charge for a month without any reply at all from the company. Avoid!
Ah crap! I've just signed up for annual license too!! Nothing seems to have happened with these guys since 2018!! What's happening???
Same problem here. No way to cancel. An opened ticket in support without any answer for more than 2 moths. Last resort is to cancel my credit card!
Same issue here. These guys have now moved into the scam department and they're not held accountable for their behaviour
Interesting, and no comments to this thread from the Hiri staff in almost a month.First get pretty excited about this client on Ubuntu, but with closer look there seems to be a lot of room for improvement with the software too.
The fact that subscribers are now in effect "held hostage" because there's no way to cancel the subscription just make this so much worse.
If there was a control panel where you could affect any of this, then fine. But now, everyone who is stuck in a subscription is at the mercy of this company.

Same issue here - support request for removing recurring charges ignored & closed without comment. They use stripe so looking to see if there is a way to get them blacklisted.
Keep us posted on that Stripe thing, as it is of interest to everyone who are stuck with recurring charges of this service.
